Join us for the third installment in the Quantum Primer Series: Quantum for Sensing. Imagine a world where you can find out exactly what lies under your feet, the streets, or a volcano. Welcome to quantum sensing. Hear from our panelists on what they are working on, the most important things they have learned over the last 10 months, and thoughts on the future.

In preparation for the SPIE Quantum West 1-Day Forum (10 March 2021), during Photonics West 2021, SPIE is offering a free "quantum primer series". Quantum is the science of the very small. It explains the behavior of matter and its interactions with energy on the scale of atomic and subatomic particles. This primer series is for anyone in our industry who would like learn about how underlying photonics work in quantum, especially in the areas of communication, computing, and sensing.

Next session:
Wednesday 10 March 2021: Quantum West, part of SPIE Photonics West
