JATIS Webinar - Emerging Technologies in Astronomical Instrumentation
Join host Mark Clampin, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center and Editor in Chief of JATIS, and moderator Megan Eckart, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and Deputy Editor of JATIS, for this two-hour webinar covering some of the hottest emerging technologies in astronomical instrumentation.

Recent advances in materials and applied physics are opening new opportunities for astrophysics instrumentation, while new observing platforms are changing space astrophysics. In this webinar we will investigate technologies that have the capability to provide game-changing scientific breakthroughs such as integrated photonics, detector systems, and quantum sensing technology to astrophysics. And, as applications in astrophysics have finally arrived for small satellites, we will look at opportunities presented by constellations of smallsats.
