Join us for the second installment in the Quantum Primer Series: Quantum for Computing. From codebreaking to aircraft design, complex problems in a wide range of fields exist that even today's best computers cannot solve. Hear from our panelists on what they are working on, the most important things they have learned over the last 9 months, and thoughts on the future..

In preparation for the SPIE Quantum West 1-Day Forum (10 March 2021), during Photonics West 2021, SPIE is offering a free "quantum primer series". Quantum is the science of the very small. It explains the behavior of matter and its interactions with energy on the scale of atomic and subatomic particles. This primer series is for anyone in our industry who would like learn about how underlying photonics work in quantum, especially in the areas of communication, computing, and sensing.
